Wonder woman doesn't need help changing tires

best caption I've read in a long time, "She's a good girl, crazy 'bout Elvis"

Ann Margaret, if you aren't familiar with who she is, once a long time ago, she dated Elvis, had a Vegas act, and more recently, was the love interest in the movie "Grumpy Old Men" with Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon.. Trivia, she had a billboard top ten song at age 20, it reached #4, she was discovered by George Burns, starred with Elvis at age 23, invented the phrase "Sex Kitten" and was nominated for an Oscar at age 30 after starring opposite Jack Nicholson, Steve McQueen, and got her 2nd Oscar nom after starring with John Wayne and Anthony Hopkins, and was in the Who's rock opera "Tommy" and toured with the USO through Vietnam. Hellava career.

the 1953 Cadillac series 62, rebodied by Ghia and given to Rita Hayworth, by the richest man in the world at the time

above images from http://onlycarsandcars.blogspot.com/
gorgeous car, Prince Aly Khan (Shia Muslim of the Ismailis) is said to have been the world's richest who gifted this to Rita, he was her 3rd husband and a Pakistan national, Orson Welles was her 2nd. She was married to Khan for 2 years before his affairs with other women forced her to file for divorce.

Her daughter is Princess Yasmin Aga Khan. Cool name. Khan immediately became engaged to Gene Tierney. Due to all the wrecked marriages, and I speculate the dishonor to his family, he was passed over for the Imam position that his family held for the past 1300 years, the only eldest son ever passed over, and his son, a Harvard student inherited from the grandfather.

I think I located Jay Leno's Big Dog Garage

This isn't much evidence, but it's at the general location that is commonly known (by the Burbank Airport) and Jay is supposed to have more than one building, one for working on the collection, at least one for storing them, and the sign above the door says "Service entrance"
And the amount of rubber on this side street in front of that gate, well... draw your own conclusion... but the people I asked while taking this photo said Jay is always on these streets. Soooo, I'm figuring I've found it. Not like that is going to do anything for me, but it's neat

Kirk Douglas goofing off for the camera in a wheelbarrow

It's cool to finally post a photo of Kirk Douglas, I've enjoyed his movies, and he's the type of celeb movie star that I'd catagorize as "cool". In 20,000 leagues he even sang, and that song is part of the Disney songs catalog... not the guy you'd expect to find int he Disney song catalog huh?

Ralph Lauren garage was just photographed by Vanity Fair

A tour of Ralph Lauren’s car collection is up for auction for charity, and the estimated tour is $150,000. That’s right, $150,000 to look at–not to own–the vintage Ferraris, Porsches and a 1936 Bugatti Atlantic, which is valued at north of $30 million. As the bidding description states, “You and a friend will receive a tour of this extraordinary private collection of classic cars given by Ralph Lauren himself.” The day ends with a ride in the 1936 Bugatti. The winner also get a signed copy of “Speed, Style, and Beauty: Cars from the Ralph Lauren Collection.”

Having some quality car-talk time with Ralph would be an experience to remember. But for $150,000? For that amount, I think I would rather buy my own Porsche or Ferrari. This is, however, for a cause, and someone may well hit the estimate. Even if they don’t, the tour is likely to raise a large chunk of change. So far there have been four bidders and the top bid is $42,500
